Attendance allowance is a non means tested benefit that is tax free. There are 2 rates of Attendance Allowance:
Many people who fund their own care never claim this allowance either through pride or the wrong information that they are not entitled because they have savings.
If you are
eligible to receive attendance allowance you do not need to have services in
place or to put them in place. This
benefit is awarded solely on ‘the need’.
This is a lengthy and repetitive form that is looking for specific wording. We will complete this form for you for a very reasonable fee at a time to suit you.
We will also liaise with Bromley council to arrange any council tax reduction or exemption that may apply.
